Industry Alliance Announced
The Foodservice Supplier’s Association Australia (FSAA) and Foodservice Industry Association of NSW Inc (NSW FIA) have announced they are forming a strategic alliance in a spirit of helping to strengthen the vibrant foodservice supplier side of the industry.
The NSW FIA was formed in 1985; the association is focused on enabling sales for foodservice businesses through executing high-quality Hospitality and Foodservice Expos focused on the requirements of the local foodservice end user community. They also help member businesses grow by providing value-added services and channels to facilitate sales to all segments of the foodservice industry.
The FSAA has been operating since 2005. Being a national body, the FSAA’s aim is to provide a complete package of member-exclusive services such as strong networking events in all states, a suite of foodservice specific training programs, professional development via its business management scholarship and highly regarded mentoring program and providing access to industry leaders where insights are shared.
Both organisations see this alliance as a complementary opportunity to benefit each association and their members, specifically by promoting and supporting each other’s activities in a spirit of stronger industry unity.
